Introduction

This is good! I did not have quick oats so I used regular oatmeal, plain, every day water, applesauce in place of oil, cardamom as a flavoring instead of cinnamon. This is good! Ingredients

    2 cups quick oats
    1⁄2 cup whole wheat flour
    1 dash Salt
    1 1⁄2 cups water
    1 tablespoon baking powder
    1 beaten egg
    1 tbsp Molasses
    2 TBS Applesauce, unsweetened

Tips

My recipe batter made 5 waffles, to me, 1 waffle is 1 serving.


Directions

Mix well together.
There should be no lumps.
Bake in a waffle iron, or like regular pancakes.

Variation: add 1/2 cup finely chopped apple and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon.

Serving Size: 1 waffle is 1 serving, my mix made 5 waffles
