Ingredients

    4.167 oz Brandy, Korbel 80 proof, 40% alcohol (by RV.TRVLR)
    336 grams Cranberries
    .75 cup, packed Brown Sugar
    1.5 cup Bartlett Pears, canned in pear juice, no sugar added

Directions

1/3 cup Brandy plus water to 1/2 cup
grate 2 pears
2 cinnamon sticks and 8 black peppercorns in tied cheesecloth or tied tea bag
bring to boil and cook covered about 30 minutes
allow to cool a bit
remove spices
add 3 more Tbs Brandy
