Introduction

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    2 Cups - Spinach, raw
    1 Can - Garbanzo (chickpea) Beans 15 oz can (425g)
    2 cloves - Garlic

Tips

You'll need a blender or food processor


Directions

Wash spinach and shake dry over sink.

Drain beans, reserving 1/2 cup of liquid.

Crush the garlic with blade of knife.

Add garlic, beans, 1/4 cup of liquid to the blender, and spinach to the blender. Pulse the blender to mix ingredients. You might need to tamp the spinach. Blend on high to a smooth, creamy texture. Add more of the reserved liquid if necessary.

Serve with raw veggies: celery, bell pepper strips, carrots, broccoli, etc.

Optionally you may add a splash of lemon juice, cumin, or other spices that you might enjoy.
