Introduction

Easy one dish Casserole. Easy one dish Casserole.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    Double Batch -
    2 cups minute rice, uncooked
    2 cans sweet corn with juice
    1 green pepper chopped
    1 yellow onion chopped (size according to amount you like)
    2 cans tomato sauce - large
    2 pounds ground beef
    Salt and pepper to taste

Tips

Each ingredient counts as one of the seven layers. Don't cook rice prior to making. Leave juice on corn to help cook rice.
Great reheated. Recipe can be cut in half for smaller dish.


Directions

In greased Casserole dish add
Rice, corn (with juice), add salt/pepper, layer green peppers and onion, add one large can tomato sauce, spread 2 pounds ground beef on top, add second tomato sauce. Cover with foil and bake for 60 min @ 350 degrees, uncover and cook for 30 min. Great reheated!
