    2 large eggs, room temp.
    1 c sugar
    1 c cake flour
    1.5 t baking powder
    1.5 t vanilla
    2 T butter, unsalted
    3/4 cup milk


Eggs must be room temp. In stand mixer beat eggs until light then add sugar and beat well. Heat milk and butter together in microwave until boiling. Sift together dry ingredients and then add in batches, alternating with milk mixture while mixer is still beating. Then add vanilla and pour into prepared sheet pan. Bake in 400 degree oven for 15-20 minutes. We top with fresh strawberries and homemade strawberry sauce, but this cake is pretty much good with anything.
