Ingredients
-
0.25 tsp cream of tarter
.5 tsp Salt
12 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw
5 tsp Baking Powder
12 serving Bob’s Red Mill Almond Flour - per 1/4 Cup
8 tbsp Butter, unsalted
Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit
2. Separate the eggs into separate containers. Add the cream of tartar to the egg whites and whip until soft peaks are achieved.
3. In the bowl with the yolks, add the almond flour, baking powder, melted butter and salt. This bowl can be mixed in a food processor but a hand mixer works just fine.
4. Add 1/3 of the beaten egg whites and fold in gently.
5. Add the remaining 2/3 of the egg whites and fold in until fully incorporated but be careful to not overmix as this is what gives the bread its volume.
6. Pour mixture into buttered 9x5 loaf pan. Bake for 45-50 minutes then check with a toothpick to ensure that the bread is cooked through.
