    2 T. Fat Free, Reduced Sodium Chicken Broth
    3/4 c. diced onion
    1 tsp. minced garlic OR 1 clove
    24 oz. ground chicken BREAST
    1/2 c. low sodium BBQ sauce
    1 T. Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp. Ground Thyme
    3/4 c. whole wheat bread crumbs


Heat chicken broth in small skillet over medium heat; add onions and saute until carmelized, 5 to 10 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 5 minutes more. Set aside to cool.

In a mixing bowl, combine the onion mixture with all the remaining ingredients except the buns. Stir well. Form into 6 - 4oz. patties.

Coat a grill or nonstick skillet with cooking spray and cook until no longer pink - about 5 minutes per side.

Serve on buns, bread or wrapped in a romaine lettuce leaf if desired.
