Introduction
This stir fry tastes really great--but gets its flavor without using any nightshades. I made this recipe grain-free for my tracker, but if your allergies and diet allow grains you can serve this over chow mein, rice, or zoodles--or eat it like this from a bowl. Ingredients
-
8 oz Ground beef, lean
1 cup, chopped Onions, raw
2 cup Snap peas, raw, whole
1 package organic carrot shreds
1 tsp Coconut Secret Raw Coconut Aminos Soy-Free Seasoning Sauce
1 tsp Pepper, black, ground
2 clove Garlic, chopped or minced; or 1 tsp dried garlic, ground
.25 tsp Ginger, ground
1 oz Radish, Fresh, chopped
0.25 tsp Salt, "Real Salt" or sea salt
The nutritional info is based on coconut aminos but if you don't have allergies to soy you can substitute Bragg's Liquid Aminos
Tips
Dairy-Free, Nightshade-Free, Soy-Free
Directions
1. Cook and drain beef (or use left over meats, steak thinly sliced, etc.)
2. Add chopped: onions, garlic cloves, radish, celery to beef. Allow them to start to cook, string as needed. When you just notice the onions and celery start to wilt, go to the next step.
3. Add the spices: black pepper, salt, garlic powder (if you didn't use/have fresh garlic above), ginger to taste. Toss the snap peas on top. Resist the temptation to stir or the spices will burn. Let this steam with the cover on until the snap peas are just cooked slightly (they will be between the raw crunchy and limp of cooked-to-long stage).
4. Stir. Add Bragg's Liquid Amino acid (if you can tolerate that) or soy-free coconut amino to taste. Serve and enjoy.
