    4 lbs. Hamburger (extra lean works best)
    1 yellow onion, chopped
    3 1/2 C. V8 regular
    2 1/2 C. Spicy Hot V8
    3 Cans Red Kidney Beans (juices too)
    2 Cans Black Beans (juices too)
    4 T Chili Powder
    3 T. Garlic Powder
    3 Garlic cloves, minced
    1 T. Sugar
    Salt and Pepper to taste (approx 1 tsp ea.)
    2 T. Honey
    1 T. Pepper Flakes


Start at the top of the ingredients list by browning onion and hamburger together. (Drain any fats if needed before adding the next ingredients) Add the ingredients in order down the list. adjust amounts to taste. When does as is, this recipe is a bit spicy. Add lemon or lime juice 1 tsp at a time until you are comfortable if you find it too spicy.

Makes approx. 15 Cup size servings

Serve with grated cheese and sour cream, or serve over baked potato.
