Ingredients

1/2 large Onions, finely chopped
4 clove Garlic, minced
1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 cup Canned crushed Tomatoes with the juice
1/2 tsp dried Rosemary
1/2 tsp Dried Thyme Leaves
1/4 cup Kalamata Olives
1/2 tsp Kosher Salt
2 tbsp Basil
2 cup Green Beans
Tips
you can substitute the green beans for other beans or meat if you prefer. You may use this as a topping for pasta.
Directions
In a medium saucepan, add the onion, garlic, and olive oil and cook, stirring occasionally, over medium heat, until the onion starts to soften, about 3 minutes.
Add the green beans, tomatoes, rosemary, thyme, olives and salt and simmer for 5 minutes. Add the water to thin the sauce to your preference.
Remove from the heat and stir int he basil.
Serve immediately or store in a glass container int eh fridge for up to 1 week.
Serving Size: makes 5 1/2-cup servings
