Ingredients
-
4 links of serving Italian Sausage Sweet, Pork(casing removed)
3/4 cup Panko Bread Crumbs, Panko (Japanese style)
3/4 cup Milk, 2%
16 oz Ground Turkey - 97% fat free extra lean white turkey (1 pound)
1/2 tsp Fresh Ground Black Pepper
1 tsp Garlic powder
1 tsp Onion powder
2 tsp WORCHESTSHIRE SAUCE
1/2 cup Parmasan Cheese (shredded)
4 TBSP Garlic, Minced, Spice World (jarred)
2 serving Eggland's Best Large Egg
Tips
My meat balls came out about the size of a quarter when I used the melon baller to shape them and I adjusted the time cooked to 375F at 25 minutes to brown them. Replace foil between batches or it begins to burn and sticks to mini balls.
Directions
Remove Italian sausage from casings and mix well in a large bowl with 1 pound of ground turkey. Add minced garlic, pepper, 3 tsp Italian seasoning (dried), garlic powder and onion powder.
In a separate bowl mix the Panko bread crumbs with the milk and worchestshire sauce until moistened. Add the bread crumbs to the meat mixture then add 2 eggs and mix well until blaended.
Pre-heat oven to 400F and foil line a pan then spray with cooking oil. I use a Melon baller to shape very tiny meatballs against the side of mixing bowl then I place then on cooking pan and place into oven for 20 minutes to brown. If you make your balls any bigger you may need to adjust cooking time to cook through well.
Serving Size: Makes about 12 small servings
