Ingredients

    1.5 lbs lean ground beef
1 head, small (about 4-1/2" dia) Cabbage, fresh
1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onion, raw
1 can Canned Tomatoes 28 oz
    1/2 tsp Chili powder
    1 tsp Basil
    1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Pepper, black lean ground beef
1/2 tsp Celery Salt (by STACYCAIN20)
    1/2 tsp Ginger, ground
    1 TBSP Yellow Mustard

    6 tbsp flaxseed, golden roasted
2 tsp Lea & Perrin's Worchestershire Sauce (by CALEKU)

Tips

Change spices if you have others that you prefer. It is really nice topped with sour cream (not included in nutrition facts) or your favorite dip; I like jalapeno yogurt.

Directions

brown meat over medium until no longer pink. drain and set aside. Core cabbage, quarter it and cut into to inch peices. Put cabbage in slow cooker. Peel and dice the onion and add to cooker. Add flaxseed, chia seeds and meat to slow cooker. Add spices, mustard and worchestershire sauce. Drain can of tomatoes into slow cooker. Break tomatoes and pour over all other ingredients. Slow cooker will be very full but will shrink down as cabbage cooks. Turn slower cooker to high for hours then low for the last hour. Can be topped with sour cream.
