Introduction

White enchilada sauce. Great with chicken and pork enchiladas. Can also be used as a base for cheese dip. Just melt your favorite shredded cheese into mixture in saucepan. White enchilada sauce. Ingredients

    8 tbsp Sour Cream
    4 tbsp Butter, unsalted
    0.25 cup Flour - Gold medal all purpose flour
    1 cup Milk, 3.25%
    1 tbsp Pepper, black
    1 pepper Jalapeno Peppers

Tips

I actually use 2 fresh jalapenos in sauce.


Directions

Melt the butter in a heavy saucepan over low heat; add flour, stirring until smooth. Add black pepper. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add milk; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly. Stir in sour cream and chopped fresh jalapeno pepper.

Serving Size: Enough for 8-12 Enchilada
