Ingredients

1 serving Old Fashioned Quaker Oatmeal- Plain (1/2 cup dry)
    1 tbsp chia seeds
    1 cup Sliced Almonds
8 tbsp Nestle Semi Sweet Chocolate Chip Morsels
1 cup Dried cherries (tart montmorency)
4 tbsp MaraNatha Almond Butter - Creamy
2 serving Muscle tech chocolate whey protein (80 grams)
4 tbsp Hershey's Cocoa 100% cacao Special Dark
    1 tbsp Vanilla extract
2 serving Water (add 1/4 cup at a time, just until the batter will fold upon itself. It should be sticky, not liquid.)

Stir after adding each ingredient. Add water last, 1/4 cup at a time.
Follow cooking directions to put cookies on sheets and for cooking times.

Tips

Could substitute any dried fruit for the dried cherries.

Directions

Put 1/2 cup dry old fashioned oats in a heavy pan on a stove burner turned to medium heat. Stir the oatmeal frequently so it doesn't burn. As it browns, it'll begin to smoke. At this point, take it off the flame!

Pour oats into mixing bowl. Follow directions for mixing.
Preheat oven to 350 F while mixing cookies.
Once everything is mixed, coat cookie sheets with Pam or other spray. Put a full tablespoon of cookie mix down on the sheet, shaping into a ball if it falls apart.

Cook for 5 to 7 minutes. The color should be dark, not light (sign of overcooking.). Cool on wire racks.

Serving Size: 24 ping pong size ball pieces, which will flatten somewhat in baking.
