Introduction

If you have a husband like mine who doesn't like tomatoes (but will eat pasta sauce), this recipe is for you. It's easy to make and there isn't any chunky tomatoes (or onions) to pick out! Ingredients

4 cups (16 oz.) dry macaroni
1/2 pound 10% fat ground sirloin
1 1/2 cans tomato sauce (you can use more if you like a soupier goulash)
1 1/2 tsp onion soup mix or to taste

Directions

Bring water to boil to cook macaroni as directed.

Brown the ground sirloin with about 1/2 tsp of the onion soup mix. Drain and set aside.

Drain macaroni and put back into large pot. Add ground sirloin, tomato sauce and about 1 tsp of onion soup mix. You can also add a dash of worcestershire sauce if you'd like. Mix thoroughly and heat through.

It makes about 10 1-cup servings. I used regular macaroni for this recipe will try whole wheat to add some fiber to it.
