Introduction

A baked custard with leftover rice and raisins that makes a delicious breakfast or dessert! A baked custard with leftover rice and raisins that makes a delicious breakfast or dessert!
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    1 cup 1% Lowfat Milk Great Value Brand
    1 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw
    .66 cup White Rice, short grain, cooked
    .2 cup (not packed) Raisins
    6 tsp unpacked Brown Sugar
    1 tsp cinnamon

Tips

This works best with short grain rice, but I use leftover long grain rice in it as well!


Directions

1. In a bowl mix the egg, milk, brown sugar and cinnamon
2. In two oven safe bowls or large mugs place 1/3c rice and 1T of raisins in each
3 Pour the liquid over the rice bowls evenly, and use a spoon or fork to break up the rice into the liquid
4. Bake in the oven at 375 degress for 40 minutes
5. Refrigerate until ready to enjoy (at least 2 hours to cool/set)
