Introduction

Stuffed peppers made in a skillet, for those hot days when turning the oven on is the last thing you want to do! Stuffed peppers made in a skillet, for those hot days when turning the oven on is the last thing you want to do!
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 Package Ground Turkey (20 oz) or Ground Beef (will change nutritional value)
    0.25 - 1 Cup Chopped Onion, to your tastes
    1 14-oz Can Petite Diced Tomatoes
    1 6-oz Can Tomato Sauce
    About 1.5 C Water
    1 Cup Rice
    2 Green Peppers
    Italian Seasonings

Directions

Saute onion, add ground turkey, season with salt, pepper, and italian seasonings; cook through. Add water, tomato paste, and diced tomatoes (undrained). Stir in rice and cook until rice is tender. Add green pepper as either strips or chopped, whichever you prefer. Cook until peppers are tender.
