Great after workout snack to reduce soreness or just take the edge off the day. Great after workout snack to reduce soreness or just take the edge off the day.
Number of Servings: 2


    2 rice cakes (any flavor if desired)
    2 T. peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
    1 T. honey
    1 banana (sliced)
    chocolate syrup (to drizzle)


Makes two cakes.

Spread 1 T. peanut butter on each rice cake.
Spread honey on top of peanut butter.
Place banana slices over both cakes.
Drizzle chocolate syrup over both cakes.

  • Did you use reduced fat peanut butter? I've found it tastes the same and fits in the calorie budget much better. I have a Tablespoon w/ a sliced apple as my mid-morning snack many days, the protein in the PB helps hold me over until lunch. - 6/28/08
