Ingredients

    1.25 package (12 oz) Potatoes, hashed brown, frozen, plain, unprepared
    20 oz Ground beef, lean
    .5 cup Butter, salted
    1 can (10.75 oz) Cream of Chicken Soup
    1.25 cup MIlk, Prairie Farms 2% Milk
    1 serving Soup, LIPTON, RECIPE SECRETS ONION, Mix, Dry
    1.5 cup Kraft Finely Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
    24 oz Breading, Corn Flake Crumbs (Kellogg's) (by STEFAYE)
    .25 cup Butter, salted
    1 cup Sour Cream

Directions

Take hash browns out of freezer & allow them to thaw slightly while frying hamburger. Begin frying hamburger; drain any remaining grease off after hamburger is browned. While frying hamburger, mix together: 1/2 sup of the butter, cream of chicken soup, milk, sour cream, & onion soup mix in large saucepan. Warm on medium heat setting stirring frequently & mixing as you stir. No large lumps should remain. Spray or grease 9x13 baking pan, then place hash browns in pan. Add cooked hamburger to the hash browns, mixing it in as it is added. Top hash browns and hamburger with the cream sauce mix. Top with cheese. Bake 30 minutes in 350 degree oven. Take out of oven & top with corn flakes sautéed I 1/4 cup butter. Return to oven & cook 20-25 minutes longer on 350 degree setting.
