Introduction

This is a great topping for grilled fish or chicken and is tasty with tortilla chips. My favorite way to eat it, though, is with a spoon! It is a really great food to manage cravings--the tart and garlicky flavor is intensely satisfying. This is a great topping for grilled fish or chicken and is tasty with tortilla chips. Ingredients

    5 medium Tomatillos
    2 clove Garlic
1.5 cup cilantro, fresh (by MISS_THING)
    2 pepper Serrano Peppers
0.6 tsp Kosher Salt (by 65PLUS1)
2 to 3 T. water or as desired

Directions

Husk and rinse the tomatillos. Quarter or halve them. Peel the garlic. Cut the tops off the serranos. Add everything to the blender and blend. It keeps for several days in the fridge, although it is best the day it's made. If you really dig cilantro, you can add even more!

Serving Size: Makes 2 cereal bowl-sized portions. Easy to double or triple the recipe for a get-together.
