    3 T butter
    2 cups rice
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    4 cups water
    2 T chicken bouillon
    2 T parsley flakes
    1/3 cup dried cranberries
    1/3 cup sliced almonds

In a large skillet, melt 3 T butter and sautee onion for about 3 minutes on high. Add 2 cups of rice and sautee until rice and onion become translucent. Add 4 cups of water and stir in 6 tsp (2T) chicken flavored bouillon and 2T parsley flakes. Cover and stir occasionally until done (about 20 minutes). Remove from heat and stir in almond slices. Cover until ready to serve.

*Special Note* raisins and beef bouillon can be used instead of cranberries and chicken bouillon depending on what type of flavor you prefer. I typically serve it as written with fish or chicken and use beef/raisins when serving other meats.
