  • Very good, always use applesauce or prunes in place of most oils. Part ww flour as well. Splenda & added raisins this time. - 7/7/11

  • Very good! Used 1/3c unsweetened applesauce and 1/3c oil instead of 2/3c oil. My 19yr old daughter came home from college tonight and grabbed one, then another, then another... big hit! Thanks for sharing. - 2/4/11

  • I didn't have chocolate chips but made half of them without (adding 2 TBSP of flour extra) and half with finely chopped walnuts). They are the moistest, yummiest cookies I have had in a long time. Will try with the applesauce next time to drop the calories a bit more. Wonderful!!! - 11/24/10

  • My Family LOVES this recipe! I also used this with my DayCare kids - we talked about being vegetarian and vegan - when they cook, they seem to get these concepts a lot better. Thanks so much for posting this recipe - 11/10/10
