    1/2 medium cabbage, shredded
    2 green onions, chopped
    1/4 sunflower seeds, toasted
    1/2 cup sliced almonds, toasted
    1 package ichiban noodles broken up

    seasoning from ichiban noodles
    1/2 cup vegetable oil
    2 tablespoons soy sauce
    3 tablespoons vinegar
    1 tablespoon Sugar
    1/2 tsp pepper


Combine cabbage, green onions, sunflower seeds and almonds. Add broken Ichiban noodles. Pour dressing over, toss and serve.

  • Made this salad for Christmas dinner, and it was a HUGE hit. In fact, my nephew's wife called me the next day for the recipe, so she could take it to her family's Christmas dinner. Made as the recipe states - no changes. AWESOME! - 12/28/10
