Introduction

Ingredients

    FILLING
    2 cup slices Peaches, fresh
    1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
    1/2 tsp Cinnamon, ground
    1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract

    TOPPING CRUST
    1/2 cup all purpose flour
    1/2 cup White Whole Wheat Flour
    1/4 tsp Salt
    1 tsp Baking Powder
    3 tbsp Granulated Sugar
    4 tbsp Butter, unsalted
    2/3 cup fairlife 2% ultra-filtered milk, or milk of your choice

Tips

Can be served with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.


Directions

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. In a shallow baking dish, add the peaches and cover with the sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla. Mix together and bake for 10 minutes.

In a separate bowl, mix together all of the dry ingredients for the crust. Cut the butter into small pieces and cut into the flour mixture with your hands. You should end up with a coarse texture. Add the milk and combine into a soft dough.

Remove the peaches from the oven and carefully spoon the batter over the top. Do not stir.

Bake for another 20-30 minutes until the fruit is bubbly and the crust is a nice golden brown.
