Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

170 grams (1 cup) Medjool dates
128 grams (1/2 cup) Almond Butter
    60 (1/2 cup) grams Pecans
10 grams (2 Tbsp) Cocoa, dry powder, unsweetened
    0.5 tsp Salt
    1 tbsp Flax Seed

Directions

1) toast pecans in 375 degree oven for 5-7 minutes or until fragrant

2) reserve 16 whole pecans

3) place remaining pecans, almond butter, dates, salt and flax seed in a food processor and process until a dough is formed

4) separate dough ball into two equal halves (if you want to be completely OCD like me you can weigh the ball and separate it that way)

5) place one half dough back in food processor and add cocoa powder. Process until it is thoroughly mixed

6) divide cocoa dough into 16 pieces and caramel dough into 16 pieces. Roll pieces into balls.

7) take one ball of each dough smush together without mixing them together. Place one whole pecan on top of chocolate half.

Enjoy!!
