Introduction

This is a rework of my old recipe, which had too much apple. It's super simple and goes well with grilled anything. Easy, fast meal for a hot day or just a too busy to cook day. Ingredients

6 serving Cabbage (1 cup, shredded)
1 large (3-1/4" dia) (approx 2 p Apples, fresh with skin
1 tbsp Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar
    1 cup Mayonnaise, regular (mayo)
1 tsp Splenda No Calorie Sweetener
    .5 tsp Pepper, black
0.5 tsp Mrs. Dash Table Blend Seasoning (by TWINMOM4BOYS)

Tips

Obviously, no two cooks have the same tastes, so add seasonings, etc, as you like. I sometimes add crispy chopped bacon, or tiny diced up red pepper as well. But when I first started cooking a lot, I really didn't know how to make slaw. I messed around til I found what we like. So, here it is!

Directions

I use bagged shredded cabbage, but I do take the time to dice my apples really small...so, priorities. Whatever yours are, just do you. Dump those two in with the rest and stir til it's all mixed, throw it into a container, then pop into the fridge til your meat is done. Serve.

Serving Size: Makes 6 one cup servings. More if it's not your only side. :D
