    * Cabbage, fresh, 1 head, medium
    * Bunch of green onions
    * Ramen Noodles, chicken flavor
    *Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 3 tbsp
    * Almonds, 1 cup, sliced
    * Vinegar, 4 tbsp
    *Splenda, 3 tbsp


Chop one med head of cabbage in bite sized pieces and thinly slice one bunch of green (spring) onions and place in a large bowl.

In a separate mixing bowl, wisk together the vinegar, olive oil, splenda and the flavor packet from the Ramen noodles.

Pour liquid mixture over cabbage/onion and refrigerate till ready to serve.

Before serving toss in almonds and crushed (uncooked) ramen noodles.

  • This was okay, a tad too vinegary but I cooked all the ingredients rather than eating it raw, and I added turkey sausage which changed the flavor too much. I think it would be good cold and with chicken and maybe white vinegar. - 6/18/08
