Introduction

Traditional dressing for spinach salad Traditional dressing for spinach salad
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1 slice bacon
    1 Tbsp red onion, diced
    1/2 tsp blue agave nectar (or substitute 1 tsp sugar)
    1/4 tsp celery seed
    1/4 tsp dry mustard powder
    1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
    2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
    Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Cook bacon. While bacon is cooking, dice onion. When bacon is crispy, drain, reserving 1 tsp of bacon fat in pan. Crumble bacon. To reserved fat add onion and saute until translucent. Add crumbled bacon and all other ingredients and heat until bubbly.

Serve immediately over spinach salad with mushrooms and hard boiled eggs.

Serves 1.
