Ingredients

    32 oz 80/20 ground beef chuck
    1 cup, chopped Onions, raw
    1 clove Garlic
    8 tbsp Great Value canned chopped geen chilis (by JMARIE27)
    12 tsp Lawry's Taco Seasoning
    1.75 cup Tomatoes, Diced in Tomato Juice, Simple Truth Organic (by EXPAT_MOM)
    3 cup Spinach, fresh
    1.25 cup Cheese - 2% - 4 Cheese Mexican - Shredded - Kroger
    1 tbsp Canola Oil

Tips

Serve hot on its own or with flat bread, in a burrito, or in flour or corn tortillas.


Directions

1. Add oil to a large pan and lightly brown meat on medium heat, mixing often and breaking into small crumbles.
2. Drain excess fat from the pan.
3. Turn heat down to medium-low and add diced onions and garlic, and cook until onions start to get translucent, stirring often.
4. Add tomatoes, chilies, and taco seasoning and mix well. Simmer for 10 minutes
5. Add spinach (or other greens) and let wilt as you stir them into the mixture.
6. Top with shredded cheese until mostly melted.
7. Drizzle with lime juice.
