Number of Servings: 6

    1lb ground turkey breast
    1/3 cup quick cooking oats
    1/4 cup nonfat milk
    1 egg, beaten
    1/3 cup chili sauce
1/4 cup very finely minced fresh onion
1/4 cup very finely minced red bell pepper
    2 tablespoons Worcestshire sauce
    salt and pepper to taste

    1/4 ketchup
    1.5 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

Preheat oven to 350.
Combine oats and milk in a small bowl and let absorb for 10 minutes. Then, add egg, onions, red pepper, chili sauce, worcestershire, salt, fresh ground black pepper and thyme to oat mixture and stir together until combine. Last, add ground turkey and mix throughly with hands or a large fork. Since the turkey is lean, this requires a little more mixing then ground beef, so don't be afraid to mix it very well.

Next, mix together the balsamic vinegar and ketchup in a separate bowl. Set aside.

Spray a glass 11 x 7 pan with cooking spray. Place turkey mixture in prepared pan and shape into a loaf. Brush top of loaf with ketchup mixture. Bake uncovered in oven for 50 minutes

Recipe yield about 4 3-ounce servings
