Ingredients

    1 (4oz) can of chopped mushrooms
    1 cup of soft breadcrumbs (or 2 slices of whole wheat)
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp of salt
    dash of pepper
    1 lb. ground chuck
    1/2 tsp oregano
    2 oz of low fat mozzarella cheese
    1 (5 1/2 oz) can of pizza sauce
    1/4 cup of chopped onion
    1/4 cup of green pepper

Directions

1. Drain mushrooms, reserve liquid, add water if necessary to equal 1/2 cup. Add breadcrumbs, egg (slightly beaten), salt, and pepper. Let stand 5 minutes. Add ground chuck, oregano, half the mushrooms, mix lightly.
2. In 9" pie plate, form a "meat" crust.
3. Use 1/2 of the cheese to make a layer of cheese. Top with pizza sauce, onion, green pepper, and remaining mushrooms. Sprinkle with oregano.
4. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes. Top with remaining cheese; bake 5 more minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
