Introduction

Ingredients

    1 lb boneless chicken breast
    2 tsp oil


Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Season both sides of meat with salt, pepper, and favorite seasonings, such as garlic powder and onion powder.

Bring an oven-safe skillet to medium-high heat on stove-top. Pour oil evenly over bottom of skillet. Add meat to skillet, it should be hot enough to sizzle right away. Brown meat until evenly seared, about 3-4 minutes each side.

Transfer skillet to oven. If you don't have an oven-safe skillet, you can use a regular skillet and transfer the meat to a preheated baking pan. Bake for 15-20 minutes .

Allow to rest 5 minutes before serving.

Can also be cooked in Instant Pot with 1 cup chicken broth on Manual Pressure setting for 10 minutes.
