Introduction

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1/2 lb ground turkey, browned and crumbled

    2 cups water

    3 cloves garlic, minced
    1 cup onion, chopped
    1 cup celery, chopped
    1 medium apple, peeled and diced
    2 cups sweet potato frozen or fresh, diced

    4 cups vegetable broth

    1 tbsp garum masala (substitute 1/8 tsp each cardamon, cinnamon, cloves, cumin, black pepper and coriander)

    2 tbsp Bragg All Purpose Seasoning (substitute tamari-soy-sauce)



Directions

Brown and crumble ground turkey in large sauce pan, set aside.

In the same sauce pan cook the next 5 ingredients in 2 cups of water over medium heat until soft.

Add vegetable broth, garum masala and Bragg All Purpose Seasoning.

Simmer for 10 minutes over low heat.

Puree until smooth

Add ground turkey and season to taste.

Makes 4 2-cup servings.
