Number of Servings: 16


    2 lbs. ground chuck
    1 pkg onion soup mix
    2 eggs
    3/4c. dry bread crumbs
    3/4c. water
    1/3c. catsup
    1 large portabella mushroom sliced
    3 slices of swiss cheese


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix ground chuck, onion soup mix, eggs, bread crumbs, water, and catsup. put half of mixture into center of a 13x9-inch baking pan shape into loaf. Push portabella mushrooms into mixture in pan. Cover with swiss cheese slices. Put remaining beef mixture onto top of and enclosing the mushroom & cheese filling. *Optional brush top with marinade of choice.
Bake 1 hour or until done. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Cut into 16 equal slices.
