Introduction

Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    8 cup Broccoli Crowns, chopped
    1 medium onion, diced
    4 tbsp Butter, unsalted
    2 quarts skim milk
    1 c broth made wuth1 Tbsp Shinsyu-ichi Miso paste and 1 c water
    3 medium carrots, coarsely chopped
    2.5 cup Great Value Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese

Directions

Saute onion in butter. Add broccoli, carrots and broth. Simmer until crisp tender.

Meanwhile heat milk with flour, whisking to incorporate. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, cayenne pepper. When thickened whisk in cheese. When incorporated, combine with broccoli.

Serving Size: Makes 8, 1-1/2 c servings
