Ingredients

    4 cup Flour - Gold medal all purpose flour
    2.5 extra large Egg, fresh, whole, raw (.5 egg is the yolk)
    .5 cup Milk, 2%, with added nonfat milk solids, without added vit A
    .36 cup Granulated Sugar
    .25 cup Butter, unsalted
    1 tsp Salt
    8 tbsp NN glace mix (candied fruit) (by ALITTLETLC1)
    .25 ounce Yeast, bakers
    .5 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap

Tips

Not a low calorie option, but a favorite at Easter. Just under 150 calories each.


Directions

Mix yest with warm water to dissolve. Add warmed milk to the yeast. Add all other ingredients to complete dough. Last 1/2 cup flour may need to be added on a mat or pastery cloth. Add candied fruits at the end. Proof until at least double in size. Roll onto floured surface and divide into 2 oz portions. Create round rolls. Place in greased pans and proof a second time. Bake immediately in a 350 degree oven.
