    6 medium white potatoes, peeled and cubed (or potatoes of your choice)
    3/4 cup low-fat or skim milk (warmed) (more or less to desired consistency)
    1/2 stick margarine (melted)
    1/2 tsp salt (more or less to taste)
    1/4 tsp black pepper (more or less to taste)


Place potatoes in cold water and bring to a boil.
Once water is boiling, add salt.
While potatoes are cooking, warm milk and melt margarine. When potatoes are done, drain well. While mashing, add milk, butter and pepper. Adding the salt while cooking will give it the flavor.
