    0.50 cup Butter, salted
    1.50 tsp Vanilla Extract
    1 tsp Baking Powder
    0.25 tsp Baking Soda
    3 tbsp Cocoa, dry powder, unsweetened
    300 gram(s) Lustre Pears in juice tin 230g drained
    2 serving 1 Egg- large, fresh
    0.5 cup Wheat flour, white, all-purpose, enriched, calcium-fortified
    75 gram(s) castor sugar


Any large tin of pear halves will work


Drain pears, set to dry on a towel.
Preheat oven to 400F.
Grease an 8x8 cake pan
cream butter and sugar. add vanilla and eggs, blend well. Add dry ingredients, blend well.
Place pears in single layer in greased pan. Spread batter over the pears. Bake for 30 minutes.
