Ingredients

    24 oz. lean ground beef
    1.5 cup onions, chopped
    1/2 cup green peppers, chopped
    2 stalks celery, medium, diced
    1 tsp. salt
    1.5 tsp black pepper
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 cup rice (uncooked)
    1 medium size head of cabbage
    1.5 vegetable juice cocktail

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Shred cabbage
3. Saute beef, onions, peppers, garlic and celery. Remove and drain.
4. Add rice, salt and pepper.
5. Layer with shredded cabbage in large casserole dish.
6. Pour vegetable juice over casserole.
7. Bake covered approximately 1.5 hours.
