Healthy homemade affordable dog food.This recipe will feed a 65 lb moderately active dog twice a day for 14 days. Healthy homemade affordable dog food.
This recipe will feed a 65 lb moderately active dog twice a day for 14 days.

Ingredients

6 Cups White Rice (Dry)
2 kg Pork (roast or chop with fat)
2 Dz Large Eggs
7 Cups Frozen Mix Veg (Peas, Carrots, Corn)
Directions
Remove bones from pork.
Bring bones to a boil in 8 cups water. Low heat to simmer.
While bones are cooking (1 hr) Slice pork into small cubes.
Separate eggs into large bowl.
Blend egg shells in food processor.
After simmering bones, strain out bones and add raw cubes pork to hot broth.
Add rice, and eggs.
Stir every 5 minutes.
Cook (10-15 min) until rice has absorbed liquids, adding more water if rice has not fully cooked.
Add frozen mixed vegetables once rice has fully cooked, mix in and cover for 10 minutes.
Add processed eggs shell.
Portion into ziplock bags, 14 servings.
Crease down the the center of each portion to separate into 1/2, then freeze.
Use within 48 hours of thawing in fridge.
Feeds 65 pound dog two meals per day.
