Ingredients

    2.0 small Onions, raw
    1.0 serving 1 Med. Green Bell Pepper
    1.0 tbsp Canola Oil
    5.0 cup, chopped Broccoli, fresh
    2.0 cup Milk, nonfat (skim milk)
    0.5 cup Buttermilk, lowfat

Directions

Saute onion in oil with a bay leaf until onions are translucent. Add green pepper, onion, 2 cups water or stock and 1 tsp salt. Cook until soft and remove bay leaf. Puree in blender, little by little, adding milk. Whisk in a pinch of allspice, black pepper, thyme, basil and a splash of soy sauce. Whisk in buttermilk just before serving.
