Ingredients

    35.2 oz *93% Lean ground beef
    2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    680 grams Potato, raw, cubed
    4 cup, chopped Cabbage, fresh
    7 cup Del Monte Petite Cut Diced Tomatoes
    3.5 cup Kroger Canned Cut Green Beans
    4 tsp Better than boullion beef flavored base - 1 tsp (by JESSIFABIANO) (makes 4 cups broth)
    1 tsp Salt
    1 tsp Pepper, black
    1 tsp Thyme, ground
    1 tbsp Basil
    2 large Onions, raw, diced
    2 clove Garlic, minced

Tips

Make this more low fat by using only 1 tbs EVOO, andbrown and rinse the ground beef separately before adding to soup


Directions

Saute onions in olive oil
Add ground beef and brown
Add garlic, mix and saute briefly
Add beef broth, cabbage, tomatoes, and spices
Add potatoes and green beans
Simmer until potatoes are cooked
