Ingredients

    2 cup Granulated Sugar
    1 cup Butter, salted
    1 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap
    2 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw
    1 tsp Vanilla Extract
    2 cup Flour - Gold medal all purpose flour
    0.25 cup Cocoa, dry powder, unsweetened
    0.50 cup Buttermilk, lowfat
    1 tsp Baking Soda
    0.50 cup Butter, salted
    0.33 cup 2% Milk
    1 tsp Vanilla Extract
    0.25 cup Cocoa, dry powder, unsweetened
    4 cup, unsifted Powdered Sugar
    1 cup Pecans, chopped. Aldi's Southern Grove (by IWASNORMALONCE)

Directions

CAKE: Mix flour and sugar in large bowl. Combine butter, Cocoa, and Water in a pan and cook to boiling point, then pour the mixture over flour and sugar and stir adding buttermilk, egg, baking soda and vanilla. Mix well. Pour into greased 10.5x15.5x1 pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes
ICING: Prepare icing 5 minutes before cake is done. Combine butter and milk in pan and cook to boiling point, remove from heat and add vanilla, cocoa, powdered sugar, and pecans, mix well and add to top of cake. Cut cake in a 4x6 pattern to yield 24 pieces.
