    75 grams my (bryanm) Martha White Buttermilk Corn Meal Mix - 30g/3Tbsp/Serving
    58 grams my (bryanm) Publix Greenwise Large Brown Eggs - 50g/Serving
    120 grams my (bryanm) Dairy Fresh Cultured Whole Buttermilk (Bulgarian Style) - 240g/Serving
    0.6 gram(s) my (bryanm) Rumford Reduced Sodium Baking Powder - 1/8tsp/.6g/Serving
    15 grams my (bryanm) Crisco All-Vegetable Shortning - 12g/Serving

Tips

Add butter while still hot, and enjoy!


Directions

Pre-heat sprayed pan in oven at 400

Sift Corn meal, flour, baking powder and baking soda.

Scramble egg into buttermilk separately.

Pour buttermilk/egg mixture into bowl on top of corn meal and add melted Crisco.

Mix well.

Pour into pre-heated pan.

Bake for 15-20 minutes
