Introduction

I serve these corn pancakes with sliced ham,
purple hull peas and turnip greens. "Down home" cookin!

Ingredients

    1 c. corn meal
    1 c. flour
    2 TB sugar
    1 TB baking powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    3/4 c. milk
    1 egg
    1.5 TB evoo
    3 TB chopped onion
    1 tsp garlic
    1/4 c. shredded cheese
    1/4 c. chopped jalepenos

Directions

Put dry ingredients in bowl. Add wet ingredients, mix well. Cook in hot skillet with a tiny bit of oil if needed, like you would pancakes.

Makes 15.
