Introduction
ground beef meat patties the way my mom used to make them in Guatemala ground beef meat patties the way my mom used to make them in GuatemalaNumber of Servings: 15
Ingredients
-
32 oz Beef, 90% Lean Ground Beef from Sirloin
5 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
3 serving Tomatoes, Roma, Fresh, 1 Med
1 cup, chopped Onions, raw
2 serving Fresh Mint (herb) 2 tblsp chopped (by MOONTURTLEM)
1 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw
60 gram(s) Bread Crumbs, Panko (Japanese style), Kikkoman-1/2 cup, 30g
Directions
mix tomatoes, onions, mint and beef together by hand.
Add in egg and bread crumbs and fold (can substitute for regular bread crumbs we only had panko at the time). Make into 1-2 oz balls depending on how big you'd like the patty(here my mom used 1 oz) and make it into a patty. Add 1 tbsp of oil to heated pan, wait for it to heat up and gently place the hamburger patties one by one, cook until golden, and flip, make sure they are cooked through (the thicker the longer it will take), add more oil as needed as you switch batches.
Serving Size: 2-3 patties
