Ingredients

    16 tbsp Shortening, Crisco
    4 cup Granulated Sugar
    3 cup, mashed Pumpkin, cooked
    6 serving Egg - Large (1 egg)
    5 cup Flour - Gold medal all purpose flour

Directions

add salt, baking soda, baking powder, cloves and cinnamon inaddition to 1 cup of water. mix crisco and sugar, add eggs, pumpkin. and water. then add dry goods. ( 2 1/4 tsp salt, 3/4 tsp powder, 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/1/2 tsp cloves, 3 tsp soda)

  • I have a much better quick bread recipe I use. It can be banana bread, zucchini bread, pumpkin bread or any other bread I like. - 7/3/20

  • I do have a recipe for pumpkin bread, much different. I am unclear on the 6 serving egg, large (1egg) then directions for mixing lists egg(S). I also don't use this much sugar or flour. Another comment is the bread can't be cut into 66 servings so one would have to make these small muffins only. TY - 7/1/20
