Ingredients

    1.0 cup moong dhal
    1.0 cup urad dhall
    1.0 tsp Salt
    0.25 cup White Rice, short grain, cooked
    150.0 mL Water, tap

Directions

Wash the moong dhall and the urad dhall separately and soak them separately overnight. In the morning, grind them separately to a thick paste. Add a little cooked rice when you grind the moong dhall. Add the two grinded dhall together, mixing it nicely. Add salt to taste. Leave it for 8 to 9 hours. The dough will rise. In the evening, you can make the idlis in the same way as the traditional ones by steaming.
