This is a quick and easy main course for those busy evenings. This is a quick and easy main course for those busy evenings.
Number of Servings: 6


    1 tbsp olive oil
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2-3 cloves garlic, to taste
    1 handful mushrooms, chopped
    1 package Yves vegetarian ground round, original
    3 cups good quality tomato sauce (preferably organic)
    1 pkg whole wheat pasta


Chop onions and garlic, and saute in olive oil until translucent. Add mushrooms, and cook until they give up their liquid. Add tomato sauce and ground round, and mix well. Simmer until well warmed.

Meanwhile, cook pasta. If you are using spaghettini, for example, your cooking time is only 4 minutes!

Put pasta in serving bowls, add sauce, and some Parmesan if you like. Makes 4-6 servings, depending on how hungry you are.
