    1/2 cup flour
    1/2 tsp garlic powder
    1/2 tsppepper
    1 broiler/fryer chicken cut up
    2 tbsp veg. oil
    1-3/4 cups water, divided
    1/2 cup soysauce
    3 medium red potatoes, cut into 1-inch pieces
    1/2 tsp oregano
    3 large carrots, cut into 1-inch
    3 celery ribs, cut into 1-inch
    1 pkg (10 ounces)frozen peas


In a resealable plastic bag, combine flour, garlic powder and pepper.Add chicken, one piece at atime, and shake to coat: set remaining flour mixture aside.In a large skillet, cook chicken in oil until browned on all sides; drain. Combine 1-1/4 cups water, soysauce and oregano; pour over chicken. Add vegggies. Bring to boil; reduce heat. Cover and Simmer for 30-40 mins. or until jucies run clear(chicken). Remove chic. and veggies;keep warm. Combine reserved flour mixture and remaining water until smooth; add to the cooking juices. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 mins. or until thickened. Serve w/ the chicken and veggies.
